Cherished Moments - Clock

Now that Christmas has come and gone I can share some of the gifts I made for my family.

My youngest son, Devon, has always wanted a clock for his bedroom.  He is crazy about fishing, so I decided to make it a sea theme.

Paper used is from the Celebr8 Sea Treasures Collection.
The clock and chipboard title are also from Celebr8.
I also used a lot of shells and sand picked up on the beaches of Namibia,
as well as some hooks, line, etc from my sons tackle box.

Cherish Yesterday, Dream of Tomorrow, Love Today - SID January Sketch

This is my first layout for the Stick It Down Design Team.
The sketch was quite a challenge as I am used to sketches that include loads of photos. I am also not a huge fan of big open spaces....but here is my take on it:

These photos have a very special place in my heart.
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, after receiving chemotherapy and having a mastectomy she is now in remission.
Every year all the ladies in my family (mom, sister, cousin, daughters, granddaughters) attended an annual ladies day cancer breakfast.  At this breakfast we celebrate the survivors, the victims, the support teams, and the ones who were not so lucky.

My beautiful mom
The family together and mom's support team!
The embellishment cluster at the bottom of the page!

Paper and chipboard title used is part of Celebr8's Picture Perfect Collection.
I fussy cut the protea's and added some dimensional glaze she to make them pop a little!!
